Welcome to POSR documentation. This guide helps you understand what you need before installing the restaurant POS suite.

Overview

POSR is a complete restaurant management ecosystem for cafés, restaurants, and food chains. It covers ordering, kitchen display, delivery, staff management, reporting, and inventory in one unified platform.

Requirements

Before installing POSR, ensure your environment meets these requirements:

Docker and Docker Compose (recommended for self-hosting)
Modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge) for the web POS
Network access between POS terminals, kitchen displays, and the database
Android device for the optional waiter and delivery mobile apps
